Author 2 days agoGreat question! While I designed this primarily with protagonists in mind, you can absolutely adapt it for important side characters. For minor characters, it might be overkill, but for any secondary character with a significant arc, this framework can add depth. You might want to focus on fewer elements (perhaps just 2-3 from the list) to keep the development more streamlined.

1 week agoI've been using this framework for a character in my sci-fi novel, and it's helped tremendously. One addition I made was to consider how the character's relationship with technology evolves alongside their personal growth, which worked really well for my setting. Would love to see a sci-fi specific version of this prompt!
